THE travel ban previously imposed by the Ministry of Health on certain African countries, due to the presence of the Covid-19 variant of concern, has been lifted.

In a media release on Sunday, the ministry stated that the travel restrictions have removed with immediate effect.

Restrictions were removed from Botswana, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
