DESPITE the Covid-19 pandemic, through worship and songs, the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS) delivered early Christmas cheer to citizens.
On Friday, the TTFS held its End of Year concert under the theme We are Overcomers which dealt with the trials and tribulations experienced by all but also re-kindled messages of hope.
The concert was held under the patronage of the Chief Fire Officer in collaboration with the Fire Service Chaplaincy Team and the Fire Service Band which performed various Christmas Carols and songs such as Mary’s Boy Child.
Members of the public tuned in virtually to the instrumental collaborations and joyous melodies which also included other members of the TTFS and Gospel Artiste Jaron Nurse.
In addition, TTFS Chaplin and Divisional Fire Officer Earl Sampson continued through ministry and song meant to inspire others to have hope and come to Jesus Christ.
In his delivery, he also prayed for members, the Government, the country and all citizens for continued guidance and protection.
Sampson said, “The Cross of Jesus is an example that we are overcomers to those who believe in Him.”
