FROM November 1, restaurants and bars, cinemas and theatres will be able to operate at full service only for those vaccinated against Covid-19.

And public servants will be again called out to work in an organised manner and further discussions will be made regarding their vaccination status.

These were some of the adjustments announced by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley on Saturday during a press conference.

Horse racing will also be resumed.

Dr Rowley also announced that he will ask that the number of  persons allowed for private events be raised from five to ten and public events will be able to have a 50% capacity if indoors.

In the measures, Dr  Rowley said churches were now allowed to have an hour-and-a-half service while still maintaining its 25% capacity.

The Prime Minister is hopeful that by mid-November, all public servants will be back out to work in full and the Tobago air service  will be able to revert to normal capacity.

Dr Rowley said his government will continue to monitor World Health Organisation (WHO) policies regarding booster shots and a vaccine for children five years and older maintaining that once such vaccine becomes available, it will be mandated that children receive that vaccine  just as other vaccines for children were required.

He is also hopeful that by December, almost 800,000 persons will be fully vaccinated and beaches should open soon.
