ALL licensing offices nationwide will remain closed until further notice by the Ministry of Works and Transport.
In a press release on Monday, the ministry advised that the closure was due to the extension of the public health regulations outlined by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley.
The ministry stated, “The Ministry also takes this opportunity to remind holders of driver’s permits, taxi driver’s license, badge, certificate or other documents issued by the Licensing Division, which have expired by January 1, 2021, will now be deemed valid until October 1, 2021, or such later date as the Minister of Works and Transport may specify.”
The Ministry apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation.
