THE Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) is advising all boat owners and those in the marine industry to take added precautions on Friday and Saturday while conducting activities.
Although Trinidad and Tobago is not yet under any tropical storm watch, the Caribbean is experiencing adverse effects due to Tropical Storm Elsa in the Lesser Antilles.
TEMA stated that it will produce periods of rain and isolated thunderstorm activity with possible gusty winds on the weekend.
“All marine interests especially persons in the east of Tobago (Roxborough, Speyside, Charlottesville etc) are advised to take the necessary precautions,” TEMA stated.
