TEN more people have died on Tuesday due to Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago bringing the death toll to 599.
In its latest update (#749), the Ministry of Health also reported 280 new cases of the virus.
Two women and eight men have died all with comorbidities.
They include:
- 6 elderly men;
- 2 elderly women;
- 1 middle-aged man;
- 1 young adult male.
The new positive cases were taken from samples during the period June 2 to June 7.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in the country is now 9,833.
