A Barrackpore man was arrested on Good Friday after police discover a tampered chassis number on his vehicle.
Police examined 70 vehicles at the ferry terminal in Port-of-Spain during an anti-crime exercise conducted between 12 noon and 2 pm on Friday.
It was coordinated by Supt Smith, ASP Nanan and acting Insp Lazarus included officers of the Port-of-Spain Criminal Investigations Department and Stolen Vehicles Squad.
They were assisted in the exercise by Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago police officers.
While examining a silver Nissan Laurel Medalist a tampered chassis number was discovered, police said.
The driver, a Barrackpore man, was arrested and the vehicle seized.
