THERE were 197 new reported cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health in a media release stated that 102 cases were taken from samples during the period August 29 to September 8. The additional 95 cases were taken from samples during the period August 30 to September 8.
The ministry stated that 43 of these cases were people housed at the Police Training Academy in St James and have not been within the national community. These individuals will be transferred to a public health facility for relevant medical care. All established protocols have been implemented.
