NINETY floods were reported across Trinidad on Wednesday.
In its incident summary at 7.30 pm, the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government stated that the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo
Sangre Grande Regional Corporation (SGRC) reported 28 and the Penal/Debe Regional Corporation reported 25.
There were two reports each in the Chaguanas Borough Corporation (CBC) and the Princes Town Regional Corporation.
The CTTRC also reported four landslides while one landslide was noted from the Diego Martin Regional Corporation.
The San Fernando City Corporation had one incident of roof damage and the SGRC had one incident of a fallen tree.
In terms of relief, 182 sandbags were given out in the SGRC, 26 in the CBC and one tarpaulin in San Fernando.
Trinidad and Tobago remains under an orange-level riverine alert and a yellow level adverse weather alert.
Rural Government Minister Faris Al-Rawi visited the CTTRC on Wednesday along with representatives from other Government agencies.
The ministry stated that assessments were done to bring speedy relief to affected persons.
