THE 80 vials of the Pfizer vaccines given to Trinidad and Tobago as a gift from the United States has been cleared for use.
This according to epidemiologist Dr Avery Hinds at the Ministry of Health’s virtual press conference on Wednesday.
He said they have been cleared and handed over to the Ministry of National Security and should be administered to various personnel within the Ministry of National Security as previously indicated.
On Monday, Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram said the vaccines did not have proper documentation and were bonded.
