EIGHT persons have died of Covid-19 this week, the highest number recorded in several weeks.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,235), reported that for the period January 2, 2023, to January 9, 2023, there were 406 new positive cases, almost double the figure from the previous week.
The ministry also stated that 169, 995 boosters have been administered while 51.3% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
