EIGHT more people have died of Covid-19 in the past week.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,241), reported that for the period February 22, 2023 to February 28, 2023, there were 559 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 174, 486 boosters have been administered while 51.3% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.

Total deaths by vaccination status as at February 28, 2023: 3,628 (not fully vaccinated), 329 (fully vaccinated), 390 prior to the vaccination programme.
Patients in hospital: 53 (48 in the parallel healthcare system and 5 in the hybrid system)
Total persons fully vaccinated: 718,606
Total persons not fully vaccinated: 681,394
Boosters administered: 174, 486
