SIX Trinidad and Tobago national who work aboard cruise ships will arrive home on Saturday.
In a media release on Saturday, the Ministry of National Security stated that 53 more nationals will arrive on Monday.
The release stated that all those arriving will be medically examined and assessed by public health officers and subjected to state quarantine arrangements.
The release stated that National Security Minister Stuart Young was in discussions surrounding the entry of the more than 300 nationals on cruise ships.
It stated, “The Government continues to carefully manage the return of our nationals in a manner designed to protect both those returning, as well as, the population in Trinidad and Tobago.”
TT borders have been closed since March 23 as part of the measures to control the Covid-19 pandemic.
