FIVE persons have died from Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,011) reported 638 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 133,771 boosters have been administered while 50.2% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The 5 deaths included:

1 elderly woman
Three persons out of the five had multiple comorbidities, while two persons had one comorbidity each.
Some of the comorbidities included diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, chronic kidney disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 12,860 or 83.5%, while 2,543 or 16.5% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021 to February 2, 2022.
