FIVE more people have died from Covid-19 on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,030) reported 395 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 141,552 boosters have been administered while 50.5% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The five deaths included:

2 elderly men; and
-
3 elderly women
Four out of the five people had multiple comorbidities, while one had one comorbidity. Some of the diseases included hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, a history of strokes and dementia.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 13,992 or 82.6%, while 2,948 or 17.4% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021 to March 16, 2022.
