THE Ministry of Health is reporting 47 new Covid-19 cases on Friday.

It stated that the samples were taken during the period April 6 to 8.

There were now 466 active Covid-19 cases with 54 patients in hospital.

It also noted that 6,219 people have been vaccinated, the update (#689) by the Ministry stated.

The Ministry of Health in its original update listed the number of  people vaccinated as 1,442 but subsequently revised  its release to stated the total people vaccinated was 6,219.
