FORTY-TWO new Covid-19 cases have been reported by the Ministry of Health on Sunday.
In its update (#684), the Health Ministry noted that the new cases were from samples taken from Thursday to Saturday.
It also noted that 52,385 of the total people tested were done at private facilities.
And in a release earlier on Sunday, the ministry showed photos of preparations being made for the Covid-19 vaccine rollout in 21 centres throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
The release stated: “As part of the national drive to safeguard the health of the T&T population in the face of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Health in conjunction with the Regional Health Authorities (RHAs) will continue the national vaccination programme from Tuesday April 6, 2021 at the 21 approved vaccination sites across all RHAs.”
