FOUR persons died from Covid-19 on Friday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1004) reported 624 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 126,802 boosters have been administered while 50.0% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The 4 deaths included:

1 elderly woman
All four persons had multiple comorbidities which included diabetes, hypertension, a history of strokes, HIV, benign hyperplasia, COPD, leiomyosarcoma and bell’s palsy.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 12,860 or 83.5%, while 2,543 or 16.5% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021 to February 2, 2022.
