FOUR men are expected to appear in court on Monday charged with gun possession and stealing chandon beni.
A release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) on Monday stated that the four expected to appear before a Master of the High Court include:
- Shane Jeffery, 24, of Ecclesville, Rio Claro, was charged with possession of firearm and ammunition, praedial larceny and found on cultivated lands;
- Anthony Cova, 37, of Agostini Village, Rio Claro, was charged with possession of ammunition, praedial larceny and found on cultivated land;
- Marvin St Cyr, 37, of Cushe Trace, Biche, was charged for the offences of praedial larceny and found on cultivated lands; and
- Andy Dookie, 41, of Agostini Village, Rio Claro, was charged for the offences of Praedial Larceny And Found On Cultivated Lands.
The four men were arrested on August 22nd, 2024 at Bolasaw Trace, Agostini Village, Rio Claro, they were subsequently charged on August 25th.
According to a police report, officers received certain information which led them to an area cultivated with Chadon Beni at Bolasaw Trace, Agostini Village, Rio Claro.
The officers discovered 105 pounds of Chadon Beni valued at TT$1,575 which was allegedly found in their possession.
