THE Elections Management Committee has received 36 nomination forms from persons wishing to contest the National Executive Elections to be held on June 15.
The positions on the National Executive being contested are:
• Three Deputy Political Leaders
• Chairman
• Deputy Chairman
• Treasurer
• Policy and Strategy Officer
• Education Officer
• Research Officer
• Elections Officer
• Party Organizer
• International Relations Officer
• North West Regional Representative
• North East Regional Representative
• Tobago Regional Representative
• Central Regional Representative
• South Regional Representative
In a release on Saturday night, the committee stated that it will now consider those nomination forms and inform those persons in due course as to whether they have been validly nominated.
Candidates have until 4 pm on June 1 to withdraw their nomination.
The Committee shall announce the list of validly nominated candidates along with the positions they are contesting on June 3, the release stated.
