POLICE have arrested three Venezuelans men who were found in a shed with 50 rounds of ammunition.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), officers of the South Western Division conducted a search on Saturday at a shed located at Mathura Avenue in Penal.
The three Venezuelans were seated under the shed where police found a plastic bag containing 50 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, hidden in a brown knapsack.
And in a separate incident, officers of the Northern Division Task Force West seized a quantity of marijuana and arrested four suspects while conducting roving patrols focusing on drug blocks.
The men between the ages of 19 and 45 were arrested for possession of various amounts of marijuana.
The officers searched a known drug den where a plastic bag containing 709 grammes of marijuana was found and seized.
