3 More Covid-19 Deaths

THREE more people have died as a result of Covid-19.

This was announced by Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram on Thursday during the Ministry of Health’s virtual media conference.

In giving the latest clinical update which will be available to the public later on Thursday, Parasram said the number of deaths will increase to 145.

Health Minster Terrence Deyalsingh said the contact and recreation sports will be rolled back as of Friday.

There was also an increase in number of persons in hospital. Dr Parasram said 11 patients were at the Couva Hospital, with two persons in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), six persons at the Caura facility and five persons at the Scarborough Regional Hospital at Fort King George.
