THREE men are held and four firearms seized during anti-crime exercises on Monday.
In the first exercise, officers conducted an exercise between 5 pm and 8 pm, on Monday in the Maracas Bay district.
During the exercise, officers went to an area near the old Maracas Bay Police Station where they conducted a search which resulted in one Smith and Wesson revolver and eight rounds of ammunition being found.
Meanwhile, in the Eastern Division, a party of game wardens were on patrol in the Rio Claro district when they paid surveillance to a camp along Mango Road.
Three men, ages 34 to 41, all of Princes Town were arrested for being in possession of three homemade shotguns and 19 rounds of 12 gauge cartridges.
The game wardens handed over the men and the weapons to the officers of the Rio Claro Police Station. Investigations are ongoing into the above matters.
