THREE firearms and a quantity of ammunition were seized by officers from the Central Division Task Force (CDTF) yesterday.
Around 8 am on Thursday, officers of the CDTF responded to reports of a loud explosion in the Felicity area. Upon arriving at the address on Makhan Street, the officers called out to the occupants of the house but received no response.
The team then entered the premises and proceeded to check an upper-floor bedroom, where they discovered a Heckler & Koch 9mm pistol fitted with a magazine on the bed.
A further search revealed a Sig Sauer MPK 9mm pistol equipped with a scope, as well as a Keltec shotgun alongside 41 12-gauge cartridges, 11 9mm MPX magazines, 24 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 22 rounds of hollow point Luger 9mm ammunition, and two rounds of S&B 9mm ammunition hidden in the room.
The scene was processed and photographed, and the items were subsequently seized.
