TWENTY-NINE additional people have tested positive for Covid-19.
In the Ministry of Health’s media release on Tuesday evening, the ministry reported that there were 477 active cases.
The number of samples tested at both public and private institutions stands at 629 with 140 persons being discharged.
The number of Covid-19 related deaths remains at 12.
The Ministry of Health is again reminding citizens to maintain safe health practices including the wearing of masks, washing and sanitising of hands regularly.
Anyone developing symptoms can please call the hotline 877-WELL or 800-WELL (9355) for further guidance. If the person is severely ill, call the 811 (emergency hotline) or call ahead to the Accident and Emergency Department of your nearest hospital for help and go in immediately.
On Monday further restrictions came into effect and these will continue for a 28 day period.
