TWENTY-ONE suspected illegal immigrants including one Colombian and 20 Venezuelans were arrested on Friday morning in Carenage.
Police reported that the arrests took place during an exercise in the Western Division between the hours of 3 am and 7 am.
It resulted in the men, being arrested for breach of the immigration laws.
The exercise was coordinated by ACP Wendell Williams, Central Intelligence Bureau, Snr Supt Thompson and Supt Smith.
It was supervised by Insp Bruno, Sgts Adams and Austin. It also included officers from the Western Division, Guard and Emergency Branch (GEB), Canine Unit, Transport and Telecommunications Branch and the Western Division Gang Unit.
