ONE day after a mother was killed at her Penal home along with her 12-year-old son, another one was chopped to death at her home in La Brea Village on Wednesday.
Ellen Tishana Mohammed, 24, from Guayaguayare died following an argument with a man known to her.
According to a police report, around 10.50 am, Mohammed, a housewife and mother of three, was at her home when the suspect dealt her several chops to her body almost severing her head.
After committing the act, he fled from the house but then surrendered to police officers.
The scene was visited by Insp Ramkissoon, Sgt Narine and other officers of the Mayaro Police Station and detectives of the Homicide Bureau of Region Two.
Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Region Two are continuing investigations.
On Tuesday, Abeo Cudjoe was stabbed to death along with her son Levi Lewis, 12, in Penal.
