A Warner Group company has been charged with 16 counts of money laundering arising out of a financial investigation into alleged illegal quarrying activities.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) stated via a media release on Wednesday that, following consultations with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), advice was received to lay charges against Warns Quarry Company Limited.
Consequently, the relevant information was filed before the court on March 5, 2026.
On Wednesday, summonses were obtained and subsequently served on the company’s director, Allan Warner, at his Woodbrook address. A hearing date has been scheduled for April 27, 2026.
The release stated, “The TTPS remains committed to pursuing financial investigations and ensuring that individuals and entities engaged in illicit activities are held accountable under the law.”
Warner is the founder of the Warner Group of Companies and a close friend of former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley.
