TEN persons have been arrested and police have seized a gun, ammunition and cocaine during an anti-crime exercise in Arima.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) stated that officers got information around 8pm on Thursday and went to Edna Hill, Windy Hill.

Upon arrival, they searched a wooden shack and found one black Springfield USA firearm with one magazine containing four rounds of ammunition.

Two of the ten were held for conducting an illegal gaming house, while the remaining eight were brought in on the following charges:
• Possession of cocaine
• Being found in an area where dangerous drugs are used, and
• Possession of apparatus
The exercise included officers of the Major Operations Unit and was coordinated by Senior Superintendent Ramkhalawan.
