CHAGUANAS – A senior superintendent and a superintendent of police were taken into custody yesterday for questioning following allegations of sexual misconduct made against them.
They were held by members of the Professional Standards Bureau (PSB) after an investigation was launched regarding misbehaviour in public office.
Bothe men are senior officers in the Central and Southern Division and a release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service confirmed that members of the PSB hare questioning the officers.
The PSB was also seeking legal advice on the matter to determine whether charges will be laid against the two officers.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Totaram Dookhie, the head of the PSB, is spearheading investigations.
