DIEGO MARTIN – TRINIDAD and Tobago’s latest murder victim was shot to death near his home in La Puerta Road in Diego Martin.
Police said Akil Sutherland, 24, also called “ Daddy Red” was near his home around 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday when he was approached by a gunman who shot him several times about his body.
The murder brings the toll to 348 for the year so far.
Police are yet to determine a motive for the murder but are working on the theory that it could have been gang-related.
