CDA Closes Beaches

The Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA) has closed off access popular beaches on the northwest peninsula.

In a statement it stated that CDA Police, the Carenage Police and the Defence force will be collaborating to conduct patrols to ensure that the closure of these beaches were adhere too and that the governments regulations and public health protocols were not breached.

Acting upon the Prime Ministers call for the public to limit gatherings to ten people or fewer, the CDA closed access to Macqueripe, Williams Bay and Chagville beaches.

This is in a bid to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
