1,000 Addresses of New Year’s Honour List Published in Error

THE Cabinet Office of the United Kingdom has apologised after 1,000 addresses of people on the New Year’s Honours List are accidentally published.

The addresses, included that of senior police officers and politicians, were uploaded to the official website but has been removed.

The Cabinet Office told the BBC: “We apologise to all those affected and are looking into how this happened.”

Among the addresses were Sir Elton John and former director of public prosecutions Alison Saunders.
