THE Bailey Bridge at Edinburgh 500 will be closed on Wednesday to all vehicular traffic in order to facilitate maintenance works.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a press release on Monday advised that there will be a temporary closure of the bridge along the Montrose Connector Road, Chaguanas, between the hours of 9 am to 2 pm.
The ministry stated, “During this period, the bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic. As such, the public is advised to utilise La Clave Street, the Caparo Valley Brasso Road and the Southern Main Road, as an alternative access route during the period.”
The Ministry apologised for any inconvenience and thanked the public for its continued cooperation.
