A 96-year-old year old woman in Siparia was found dead at her home on Saturday.
Police said the body of Utilda Joseph, of Hillview Lane, Quarry Village, was found around 3.30pm on Saturday.
Her hands were tied and house was ransacked.
Investigators are working on the theory that she was killed by someone she knew.
