MANY residents in north, central and south Trinidad will have a disruption in their water supply due to flooded river conditions.

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) issued a release on Wednesday stating that customers served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant will have a disruption in their pipe-borne water supply from 2 pm that afternoon.

Disruption was expected to continue until 8 am on Thursday.

“This is due to flooded river conditions and clogged screens currently being experienced at the raw water intake of the facility due to the passage of the Invest #91L,” WASA stated.
