TRIINIDAD and Tobago was not able to celebrate Carnival this year due to Covid-19 but in the United States, the annual Steel Pan Day event was still held.
The event is held in Brooklyn and organised by Trinidadian Shelley Worrell who said the event on Sunday was a way to bring the Trinidadian community together.
The event was featured in the US news and shared with AZPNews.com.
Organisers of the event spoke with pride and joy about sharing their culture with others even in the midst of the pandemic.
