Tuesday’s  Weather: Significant Saharan Dust with Intermittent Showers

FORECAST: Partly cloudy and hazy with a few intermittent showers. There is also a 40% (medium) chance of heavy showers and thunderstorms favouring western areas of Trinidad during the afternoon.

Cloudiness will dissipate during the evening. Tonight will be settled at first, becoming cloudy near midnight with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly over Trinidad.

Caution:  Gusty winds and street flooding are likely near heavy showers and thunderstorms. There is a significant amount of Saharan dust in the atmosphere. Persons are advised to take necessary precautions.

The Southern Windwards: Sunny and hazy with a brief shower at times. Tonight will be fair but hazy apart from occasional showers.
