THE body of a Special Olympic athlete was discovered behind a vegetable stall in Woodland on Saturday.
Sean Gibson, 34, head was bashed in and the owner of the stall made the discovery when he was about to open for business. He called the police who suspect murder.
Gibson, is a former football captain who also represented T&T at the Special Olympics in floor hockey, was identified by relatives.
An autopsy is expected to take place on Monday.
