SATURDAY September 14, and Thursday September 12, are thus far the hottest days of 2019.
In a tweet, the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Office said that on both days a high temperature of 34.3º C was recorded.
And on both days the Heat Index was between 41ºC to 43ºC.
The Met Office stated that urban areas would have experienced higher temperatures and heat indexes.
