TRINIDAD and Tobago’s Bobsleigh – brakeman André Marcano and British-born pilot Axel Brown are preparing for the big event on Valentine’s Day.
A training session took place on Thursday morning at the Yanqing National Sliding Centre, in Beijing, China, where Brown and Marcano participated in heat one and two training sessions, with a time of one minute and 02.52 seconds.
Shakeel John, the team’s alternate athlete, cheered on with their coach Thomas Harris supported by Chef de Mission Lovie Santana and their Covid Liaison officer Rheza Grant.
The training sessions were in preparation for the two-man competition on February 14 with the first event at 8.05 am followed by the second on February 15 at 8.15 am at the Yanqing National Sliding Centre.
