A TEMPORARY traffic disruption is expected to take place from Friday to Saturday along Golden Grove Road in Piarco.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a media release on Wednesday, stated that the traffic disruption will take place on the B ½ Golden Grove Road Bridge as it was necessary to facilitate bridge reconstruction works.
The work to be conducted will start at 9 am on Friday and continue until 4 pm on Saturday.
The ministry advises motorists to use either the alternate route of Trincity Boulevard East or Trincity Central Road to gain access to the Churchill Roosevelt Highway or Eastern Main Road.
Only local traffic would be permitted within the work zone.
Motorists are asked to comply with any directional signs and barriers or instructions given by on site officers or official personnel, drive with caution as there may be heavy equipment on and around the site and comply with instructions from police officers on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
