THERE is to be a traffic disruption in South Trinidad over the next three weeks to facilitate road repair works.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a press release on Wednesday stated that the disruption will be along Golconda Connector Road from Piedmont Blvd heading in a westerly direction, to the intersection of Golconda Connector Road and Piedmont Blvd traffic lights, San Fernando.
This disruption should take place from Thursday and is expected to continue until September 8 from the hours of 8 pm to 4 am.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone, comply with instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site and drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces.
