TO facilitate drainage works, there will be a traffic disruption along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway over a two-month period.
The Ministry of Works and Transport advises the public that the temporary traffic disruption will be along the highway westbound, from Demerara Road to Pinto Road.

The disruption is expected to begin on Friday and continue until September 29.
“This has become necessary to facilitate drainage works,” the ministry stated in a public notice released on Friday morning.
The hours of work are from 8 am to 5 pm.
Motorists are advised to comply with the following:

Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.

Comply with instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.

Be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.

Drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces.

Drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
