ANOTHER election is set to take place this month, this time in Tobago.
On Monday, the Tobago People’s Party (TPP) led by Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary Farley Augustine announced that its internal elections are scheduled for Sunday, June 30.
The following Executive Officer positions will be elected:
- Chairman
- Deputy Chairman
- Political Leader
- Deputy Political Leader (one position)
- General Secretary
- Assistant General Secretary
- Party Treasurer
- Assistant Party Treasurer
- Elections Officer
- Membership and Mobilisation Officer
- Education, Research, and Training Officer
- Public Relations and Communications Officer
The party stated, “In accordance with our constitution, following the election, the political leader will appoint two additional deputy political leaders. Representatives from the Women’s, Men’s, and Youth Councils will also be appointed after these groups are officially constituted.”

Nomination forms will be available at the TPP Head Office, Unit 18, TLH Building, Milford Road, Scarborough, Tobago, from June 10 to June 14 between 10 am and 4 pm.
Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the Head Office on June 17 between 10 am and 5 pm.
