COMMISSIONER of Police Gary Griffith is assuring tourists that their stay in Trinidad and Tobago will be safe, secure and incident free.
In a video posted on the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) Facebook page Griffith said, “Your stay here in Trinidad and Tobago is going to be amazing.”
He said, “Whether you are here on business or pleasure, Trinidad and Tobago has something special to offer. And while you enjoy our beautiful islands, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will be working tirelessly to ensure that your stay here is safe, secure and incident free.”
Griffith said Carnival 2019 was said to be the safest ever because the TTPS was going through a period of rapid transformation.
He said it has upgraded its emergency systems with police vehicles placed throughout the country ready to respond within a moment’s notice.
Griffith police officers were undergoing continuous training “to ensure that you our returning residents and visitors receive word class customer service and enjoy a sense of safety.”
He added, “The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will take care of you. Welcome to Trinidad and Tobago. Enjoy your visit. We want you to return home with wonderful memories of your stay with us.”
