MINISTER of Planning Senator Kennedy Swaratsingh and Minister of Finance Davendranath Tancoo are both appointed as ministers in each other’s ministries.

According to the Government, the appointments are aimed at improving economic coordination.

The Trinidad and Tobago Gazette has stated that Minister of Finance Davendranath Tancoo has been appointed as Minister in the Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development.

He joins Minister of Planning Senator Kennedy Swaratsingh, who was also appointed as Minister in the Ministry of Finance.

The appointments were made by President Christine Kangaloo on the advice of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
