ALL Out-Patients Clinics at the South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) are now temporarily suspended until further notice.
These include all clinics at hospitals and health centres.
In a press release on Saturday, the SWRHA stated that as an alternative measure SWRHA’s medical staff will be in contact with patients.
Patients are further advised that SWRHA staff will also be in contact to collect new prescriptions, clinic cards or new appointments and referrals or blood results.
Patients with scheduled appointments, who do not receive a call from the Authority, are requested to contact 87-SWRHA (877-9742).
The measure however, does not apply to antenatal clinics and the childhood Immunization services. Patients and clients can contact the Customer Care Centre at 87-SWRHA (877-9742), for any matter in relations to healthcare.
