THE South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) contributes close to quarter million shots towards the national vaccination efforts to fight Covid-19.
This was revealed by Chief Executive Officer of the South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) Dr Brian Amour on Monday during the Ministry of Health virtual presser.
Dr Amour said, “As of September 12, excluding the Johnson and Johnson, we have given 135,000 first dose shots and second doses which included the J&J were 108,000 average doses which was estimated close to quarter million shots that SWRHA has contributed towards the national efforts.”
He said, “There was a 77% uptake of vaccines with healthcare workers.”
Dr Amour 56% of nurses have taken the injection.
