THE Police Service Commission (PolSC) launches an online survey aimed at getting feedback on the performance of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
This initiative focuses on evaluating the police service’s responsiveness to the safety and security needs of citizens, a release stated on Monday.
The Public Trust, Confidence, and Satisfaction Survey will be available from Tuesday, September 17, to Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
The release stated that it serves as a crucial tool for the commission to fulfill its constitutional role of monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of the commissioner of police and deputy commissioners.
The PolSC is asking everyone to participate in the survey, stating that public input is vital for shaping a police service that meets the safety expectations of the nation.
The survey is designed to be quick and user-friendly, requiring just ten minutes to complete. To maximise accessibility, the commission has partnered with various entities to distribute the survey across multiple websites and social media platforms. A QR code option is also available for easy access via smartphones.
Importantly, participants are not required to provide any personal identification, ensuring complete anonymity. All responses and any incidental information gathered will remain confidential and will not be disclosed.
The PolSC encourages the public to seize this opportunity to voice their opinions and contribute to the future of policing in Trinidad and Tobago.
